• This region has the mildest climate among Jeollanam-do’s aquaculture areas, with minimal temperature fluctuations, weak winds, and gentle waves, making it the optimal location for seaweed farming.

• The marine farming is mainly carried out in the inland bay, making transportation and transportation smoother than seaweed farms in the island area, so the aquaculture schedule is efficient, and the industrial base is designed and operated as an organic route from marine farming to processing

• Goheung accounts for 35% of the nation's nori production, and wakame also accounts for 33% of the nation's production, with the highest production per unit  area.
